This is a MUST HAVE book for anyone interested in Legal Nurse Consulting. This book is very thorough and is a great introduction and reference for this career avenue.

This book is a great at home teaching tool on how to become knowledgeable in the field of LNC and how to start your business.

this is a great essentials book for anyone interested in legal nurse consulting. i have read through some of it and will surely be using it even more as i am launching my new business. i got a used copy and it came to me in great shape!

I'm slightly confused as to why there are such phenomenal ratings for this book as a beginners book. I'm an RN looking into the LNC field as well. I even took a stent of Business Law classes in college, but found the language very intense to be considered a beginners/ basics book. I'm on about chapter 5 now, and it's becoming easier to read, but a lot of the information is monotonous to endure, simply because there are so many examples given for what certain states have as statutes. I'm going to search for a Legal Nurse Consulting for Dummies or something... because it seems to me that the authors are merely trying to show off their extensive legal vocabulary, instead of teach you the basics of the litigation process. Granted, this book is like two encyclopedias thick, and contains many chapters of applicable information... it's just not an easy read. Have a legal terms dictionary or google at your disposal when you begin, because if you're not familiar with court or the legal system, you will be needing a reference for almost every sentence. If you're serious about becoming an LNC, this book is worth the buy, simply for the references and example court documents, but I will definitely be looking out for a better beginners book to get me into the basics of "the basics", as I am not well versed in the judicial system. I did buy this book used, and was very pleased at the condition it was in.

I have no experience in legal nursing and I am diving in "head first". This is a great book as it covers everything plus gives great reference to what is expected on-the-job. If you have no one holding your hand and training you, this book will. Great knowledge. Highly recommended!!!

I received this book 2 day shipping as requested. I have had it for about a month now. It is easy to ready and goes well with the Kaplan course. Most importantly I am sure I will get a lot of use out of it as a reference. Great book!!
