About the Author

Ann Cheyne is a freelance lecturer in training courses for legal secretaries. She previously worked in the law for many years: in solicitors' offices dealing with everything from general clerical work through to being a secretary, fee earner, researcher and manager.

I thought this would be useful to my new staff. However, the book contains only information about British Court, procedures, forms....
My Secretary is confused enough most of the time.The last thing we need is a guidebook with the caveat "That's kinda like what we do , but with a slightly different name."
The description contained a , somewhat cryptic, clue that the emphasis might be London, but it should have been explicit, unless they are trying to sell books that are useless to Americans to Americans.
