5.0 out of 5 stars Just like Jeopardy, this books gives all the answers FIRST, and then asks the questions.
What a great resource! It is one I keep at my desk all the time. This book separates all the different areas of law into sections and offered me a step-by-step approach to learning the terminology I needed for a new job. Some words have multiple meanings so it was helpful to have them defined in each area of law- where I noted the differences.

2.0 out of 5 stars Attention! This Book Has NO Answer Key
While a great book with lots of questions and practice, this book should be sold with a major emphasis that it is STUDENT only. There is no way for a student to check their answers.

I got this book for study outside my coursework and am getting a lot out of it -- but it is very frustrating to be unable to check my work.

This review is from: Legal Terminology with Flashcards (Paperback)
What a great resource! It is one I keep at my desk all the time. This book separates all the different areas of law into sections and offered me a step-by-step approach to learning the terminology I needed for a new job. Some words have multiple meanings so it was helpful to have them defined in each area of law- where I noted the differences.
I just made a pack of cards from the flash cards provided in the back of the book and practice when I could: on the subway, stuck in highway traffic, or with another person at work. It was even fun, especially as I got closer to mastering the pack of cards. It gives you all the answers up front in a dictionary format: the words, pronunications, and definitons! No need worrying about getting up to speed quickly with this.

Only Instructors are allowed to purchase the keys to the text.

BE AWARE of this, Students!

(BTW: The case studies at the start of each section are very condensed and do not really engage the student to connect it to the remainder of the practice section.)

2.0 out of 5 stars Not the Best, December 5, 2011
I am currently using this book to study Legal Terminology. I would not recommend it to anyone. The disc with the terms on it, is slower than anything I have ever used. The definition do not match the questions, which makes the answer even harder to find. The discs features to not work correctly. I suggest getting another book

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Law Students young and old!, March 5, 2000
This book is a great thing to have for a student just starting out in Law School or for the person that has completed his/her studies and is now a Lawyer. It is like a refresher for those who may or may not need it! A wonderful book to carry with you to court cases or class!
