I use this as a stand alone desk (I bought it to match the full sized Legare desk on which I have my work computer) for an iMac. The computer fits fine and the desk is stable without being linked to another section. The only negative is the lack of a hole in the back to run wires through.

This is the COOLEST desk you will ever own! I bought the 60 X 47 corner desk and the 30" extension in espresso, which as others have mentioned is DARKER than it looks in the pics on Amazon. All the pieces are true to measurements in the descriptions.

And wow... they are not kidding about the ease of construction and I can't believe how sturdy they are. It took my son and I about 15 minutes to put the desk together. Plus... they look cool!

If you like to be a bit unique, you WILL NOT be disappointed if you buy this desk. I bought it as a Prime member and both pieces shipped free and were at my house within 5 days... you can't beat that! :)
