I am a 27 year old woman, and most of the furniture in my bedroom is white. was so hard to find a desk that would fit in the space I had and match the rest of my furniture without looking childish or cheap. I love this desk. It was a little tricky to put together, but I was still able to do it in about a half hour, by myself. It's been in place for 4 months now, and I've even been able to push and slide it around without having to take it apart, and without worrying that I would weaken screws or nails because there are none! I'm thrilled with it. As an adult, I have plenty of room to sit at the desk with my legs comfortably underneath, and the amount of storage is great. The shelves on the top part are rather small, but I found them useful for thinks like external harddrives, a caller ID globe, and business cards. They're also a good place to put small items that really have nowhere else to go. I'm thrilled with this purchase, and would recommend the desk in a heartbeat.

The desk is well designed and high quality. It was easy to put together and it holds together very nicely. I was worried that an interlocking system would come apart easily; but im happy to say that once its together, its solid.

I purchased this desk for the whole family to use. I had a small space and this desk was perfect. The desk top workspace area is large enough to accomodate a flatscreen monitor (possible 19" max), keyboard & mouse plus some workspace. I would not suggest a regular monitor. A laptop is perfect for a student workplace & studying too. The shelves are not deep enough for a large size printer. It is very sturdy when asembled and equipment/items are placed on it. Unfortunately it took me more than 3 minutes to assemble but that's okay I ended up with the perfect desk for my family and student.

I love the desk, very fast and easy to put together. I put it together by myself in 15 minutes. The designers really thought through what a good computer desk should be, there are holes to run computer cables throughout the entire desk and hutch. The only flaw, and the reason for the 4 stars, is I am slightly disappointed in the white finish. It is is not completely finished on some of the edges and the surface of the desk scuffs very easily. Other than that, I could not be happier with the desk.

Got the desk, took everything out of the box to find there were no instructions for putting the thing together. Really? Would it have killed them to spend a nickel to print out the instructions for a $250 desk?

Had to go to the website to get the instructions, which they didn't have. The best I could get was the individual instructions for the 36" desk, and the instructions for the hutch. Thing is, they gave no instructions on how to secure the hutch to the desk. And no pieces were provided to secure the hutch to the desk. So the whole 'hardwareless' thing went out of the window when I screwed the hutch to the desk with wood screws.

The desk really isn't bad, but there is no way in hell that this thing is going to last more than a few years. It is all glorified particle board, with no hardware holding the thing together. So really one bad bump that breaks some of the jigsaw-puzzle-like pieces in the wood, and this thing is firewood.

If I could go back a few days, I would definitely buy a different desk.

As in another review, my desk arrived in a box that looked like it had already been opened and re-taped. When we opened the box the contents looked like there had been a bomb that went off. The foam sheets that were to protect the pieces was obliterated! This desk is very heavy! Whenever we got the pieces out and all the thousands of foam particles cleaned off there was A LOT of damage. I took photos documenting all the damage and decided to stop at 40! I called Amazon. They did offer to send me another one or give me a $20 refund. The box and packing material is totally unusable and to the truth it will be so much effort to get it packaged back up and then pray another doesn't show up the same way. I told them that the desk was sturdy built, but worth only about $25 at a yard sale because of all the cosmetic damage. The very best they could do was give me a 30% discount which is $62.70. Since my husband is against returning it we did take the discount of $62.70. The bookshelf showed up today and the box looks like it was also dented and previously opened. I haven't looked at it yet, but I have a feeling it will also been in bad shape. I do like the design and it is built sturdy, but do not expect it to not have scratches and dents.

this desk is very easy to put together! The white is actually a slight off-white, but the quality of the materials is great. My 11 yr old daughter loves all the different shelves and places to put things. It is a perfect size for her bedroom.

this product is easy to set up, and seems to be a good buy for the money. would recommend it to others.

This is a really cool desk. Ordered for my son and he absolutely loves it! Very easy to assemble, think it took about 10 minutes to put together after getting all the pieces out of the box. There was a small crack on one of the pieces that wouldn't probably have affected lifespan of the desk but with a quick email to the company this was cheerfully replaced within a few days. Thumbs up on both the desk and the company that makes it!
