Legare the Lowcountry Lizard is back in a new adventure! Legare and friends are enjoying one of the many festivals in Charleston, SC, when he meets Chalmers the Cat. Legare escapes this encounter but without his tail! Legare asks his friends what to do, but in the end Tradd the Tree Frog tells Legare he will always be his friend with or without a tail. Of course, Legare re-grows his tail in time for the festival finale!

About the Author
Christi Sanford is currently a full-time mom and part-time author of children' books. Legare the Lizard and His Sturdy New Tail is her second published book. Before this adventure into writing, she received an MBA from UNC Chapel Hill and worked for Hanes then moved to Charleston, SC and working in community health outreach. She is married and has two children.
