About the Author

Joseph Randell Sherman is an American ex-pat living in Portugal. A poet and photographer, his earlier work has been included in six anthologies and been distinguished by a number of international awards. He is the author of Songs of Love and a book of haiku, Echoes from Within. Another creation, Universes Beyond the Visible ~ Elements of Dream, is a book of photography with bilingual texts of poetry and prose coauthored with Alexandra Oliveira, his partner. This is his first epic poem for children.
