Informative but not what I thought...,

This review is from: The Legend of Briggs & Stratton (Hardcover)
I really find the Briggs story interesting. I really wanted the book to cover the evolution of the engines and more information about the engines and the people that make them. The book is geared to the founders of the company and rightly so, but the story more geared toward the everyday worker would have been more interesting to me. The evolution of the engines and the construction of the engines would be more appreciated in the book, in my opinion.

This book is very interesting if you have any interest at all in the history and the making of Briggs and Stratton. The book has a lot of coverage of the pre-war engines as well as new.
