What's in this book,

This review is from: The Legend of Drizzt Collector's Edition, Book III (Bk.3) (Hardcover)
It amazes me that even after the release of the book, there is still no description of what is contained within. I went ahead and purchased it anyway assuming this book would continue where the first two left off.
Just like LoD_CE1 is the Dark Elf Trilogy and LoD_CE2 is the Icewind Dale Trilogy, this book IS the Legacy of the Drow Collector's Edition reprint. It contains the books The Legacy, Starless Night, Siege of Darkness and Passage to Dawn. --------- EDIT (2/11/2009) I see they did, finally, post a description. I hope they continue to put these out as I'd love to replace all my used Drizzt books with these excellent collector's edition prints.

My fiance turned me onto these books and I am now a huge Drizzt fan. These books are exciting page turners and I highly suggest buying the collector's edition. The cover art is awesome and it's great having all of the books together in three volumes.

The Collector's books bring together the Drizzt series in a very nice hardcover that is easy to read. There are still some editing and spelling mistakes, but it is not enough to ruin or complicate the story.

Loved it! I could not put the book(s) down. I especially loved the personal thoughts (sort of a diary) from Drizzt as each story was broken up in Parts. I can't wait to continue reading the next series on Drizzt Do'Urden. I definitely recommend this series to anyone who has a love for the fantasy realm. "Forgotten Realms"!

as one of the biggest fans of the legendary Drizzt Do'Urden, i can say that this is one of the greatest additions to my ongoing collection of the Legend of Drizzt Hardcover Edition. even after twenty years, drizzt is still a remarkable character.

This review is from: The Legend of Drizzt Collector's Edition, Book III (Bk.3) (Hardcover)
After reading the first 6 books of the Drizzt legend, I wanted to get another three or four books in one...book.
First off, the cover art and the book itself without the cover is AMAZING! It's glossy and has a mirror-like effect. I also loved the "celebrating twenty years of Drizzt" emblem on the lower left corner. The pages feel...soft...That's odd to say, but I've never felt such soft pages. I stumbled upon the first book about the infamous Drow by accident, now I can't stop reading! How Lord of the Rings ever got a movie before these works of art is beyond me! Drizzt crushes LotR IMHO. I mean come on, a badass elf with twin scimitars? or a hobbit with a ring? No contest to me. Overall I DEFINITELY recommend buying this and adding it to your collection! |
