Stop Making Excuses, This Is A No-Brainer.,
This review is from: Legend of Harley Knowles (Audio CD)
For whatever reason, you've decided to shop for music via Amazon.com and, while shopping, you stumbled across this album and you aren't sure whether or not you should spend the money and time on a band you've never heard of before, right?
Well, my newfound friend, I've got some good news for you. The lofty price of $11.99 is well worth the risk on this one. Paperface has been cranking out inspired music for years, now, and this newest release only speaks to this band's ability to continue to push the envelope in genre creativity. Still don't believe me? Try visiting the band's website and testing out a couple mp3s on your playlist - the music-obsessed child in you will celebrate the tunes while the expense-fearing adult in you will rejoice at the price.

Paperface is a remakably talented, wonderfully original band finally discovering some much deserved attention. You can buy this CD resting comfortably in the fact that you just might be coming across an addition to your list of favorite bands. The only thing I wish is that more of the Paperface catalogue was available here on Amazon. Get the CD now so you can feel self-important and superior when your other friends attempt to jump on the bandwagon after Paperface is already insanely popular.
Seriously, you can't go wrong here people.

This is now one of my favorite albums. When I first got it I would listen to it pretty much every day. I still listen to it pretty often, some times playing it more than once in a row. If your a fan of Ben Folds, Weezer, or the Beach Boys, I could see you like this. The secret track Dance Karate, is a very fun dance track as well. I am obsessed with this album. You are fortunate to have found this album. Also check out Chris Merrit's solo work, he seem's to get even better over time. Their first album "rock, Paper, Scissors" rocks as well. Buy this album, you will like it.

Paperface is actually local to my area, so I was introduced to them when they played at some sort of local event.
I'm fairly picky about the music I listen to, as a musician myself, and this cd completely blew me away. The piano is amazing (especially in Intro to Darkside), and the lyrics are incredibly good. Unlike most CDs I buy, I absolutely love every track on this disc--they're all in my MP3 (which is saying something, because my MP3 has very little memory, hence necessitating pickiness in my music selection). Paperface is excellent, nay, superlative if you're looking for something more than the average pop-rock drivel. |
