I first heard Ms Sumac in the 1950's. As a teen, I was interested in a vast variety of music most of which has long been forgotten. Not so with Ms. Sumac. While sitting in a gazebo over the lagoon here in Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia, I entered into a discussion with a recording collector. To my suprise, he not only knew of Yma Sumac, he directed me to this site. I plan to restart my collection today and share with the community here in paradise.
