5.0 out of 5 stars IMAX at its best April 20, 2003
Format:DVD
This film is much different than the other IMAX documentaries available. It is more of a docu-drama. The story is interesting and the acting is very good. The scenes of Scottland are breathtaking. If you are looking for a IMAX film that dares to be different...this is DVD for you. Take the high road and purchase The Legend of Loch Lomond.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Scenery and Story of a Scottish Legend July 27, 2013
Format:Amazon Instant Video
I really enjoyed this short movie and think it could have made an interesting full length movie. The story of the song about Loch Lomond really comes to light in a new way after watching the movie. Very nicely done and gorgeous scenery. Definitely worth the watch, especially if you love stories that have a blend of historical Scotland and love story legends.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lovely Loch Lomond September 13, 2005
By Andrea
Format:DVD
I loved this short movie. There was only one thing I found strange: The band members of Shindig--from London--all had Scottish accents. I'd have liked to have seen the tale made into a full length feature, but for what it was, it's most definitely worth purchasing.

Watched it, purchased it and love it. One of the greatest love stories. Would like to see this crew create a collection of folklore/legend short movies. AWESOME! OUTSTANDING! The song is so captivating.

4.0 out of 5 stars great prime freebie... July 1, 2013
Format:Amazon Instant Video
From the way this was shot, I believe this was a imax movie that you see in museums. Beautiful panoramic vistas of Scotland, and a sweet tale of two lovers behind a popular Scottish ballad. A nice, quick film to watch free with your prime membership.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Entertaining February 12, 2014
Format:Amazon Instant Video
Although it was a short movie, it packed a lot of story. I was able to enjoy the story even when some of the acting fell a bit short.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great scenery, light on storyline
Great scenery, though I got a little dizzy from the flyovers. Nice legend of the story behind the Loch Lomond song. The script could have been a little more detailed. Read more
