Beautiful scarf- well made, but definitely bolder and brighter than photo. The blues and reds are much stronger. Works with certain types of clothes but I have found it a bit too bright for some business outfits. It is fun though!

I bought this scarf for a family member as a Christmas gift. I was blown away when it came in the mail and I saw it for the first time. The picture does not do it justice. The colors are so vibrant but manage to not be garish. Also the detail of the print is outstanding. This is an outstanding scarf that was better than expected especially when considering the reasonable price. If you're looking for good value and a coloful scarf, look no further.

I was happily surprised when I received this silk scarf. It was hard to decide if I should wear it or hang it on the wall so that the entire design could be seen. As noted by others there are sequins and beads. I was concerned about washing it but I let it soak in warm water and air dry it on a towel. I have had it for six months now and it has held up very well. I get a lot of compliments. I see that it is no longer available on Amazon which is a shame... on the other hand, it means not too many other people will be wearing "my" scarf!

Not shown and not clear in the pictures is that there are small yellow seed beads along the sun's rays and beads and sequins on the bird. That looks nice enough on the front side, but it means the back has unattractive beige stitching showing. I may pick out the sequins (it's huge stitching, should be easy), since I wear scarves such that you can often see either side as I move.While I'm commenting on the picture: only half of the scarf is shown - the sun and woman's face are actually at both ends. |
