5.0 out of 5 stars The Legend Lives On..., November 24, 2000

When the previews for this game came out, they said that this was the sequel to the SEGA Genesis smash hit "Beyond Oasis". WRONG! It wasn't! It was actually the prequel, which honestly surprised me. After seeing and playing this game, I was actually very happy with the looks, sound (major kudos to Yuzo Koshiro and team whose previous credits were to the Genesis' "Beyond Oasis," the "Streets Of Rage Series," and some others that I'm not sure of), and gameplay. I will never give this up nor its sequel "Beyond Oasis" for the Genesis). This is one game that no Saturn gamer should be without

5.0 out of 5 stars Legend of Oasis istruly a GEM, September 27, 2000
This review is from: The Legend of Oasis (Video Game)
Legend of Oasis is an AWESOME game- it has great graphics, sound, control, and bvest of all, the gameplay is TIGHT. This is a classis Saturn game that Zelda (or any action/RPG fan) fans will savor for quite some time. The game is difficut, but that's what separates the men from the boys, right?? Get it now!

This review is from: The Legend of Oasis (Video Game)
This game is awesome and like my title says, is a recreation of a top down, 2d "zelda" game. Start of in a town, find the dungeon, find the item crucial to beeting the boss, progress to the next town with new ability, repeat. It's creative and really shows the 2d power of the Sega Saturn. I never beat the game, but was always in intrigued with it's predessesor on the Sega Genesis "defenders of Oasis".
