Where The Truth Lies + more, January 19, 2000
This review is from: The Legend Of Prince Valiant (The Animated Series) (Audio CD)
The song "Where the Truth Lies" has haunted me for years with its powerful melody and lyrics. The song alone is worth purchasing the CD. The sound bite up there hardly does it justice. If you remember this series, which was short-lived (a shame, I disliked the comic but loved the show), then this is for you. The instrumental pieces on here are also worth listening.

The Singing Sword strikes back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, March 19, 2002
This review is from: The Legend Of Prince Valiant (The Animated Series) (Audio CD)
This is one of the greatest cds ever produced for a cartoon series, a friend of mine lent me this and after i heard i began looking for it, and now I'm glad I've found it. This cd has great arrangements, including medieval music, and the song "Where the Truth Lies" makes this cd unforgettable and an overall great listening cd, making some of the tv series fans remember some great moments of Valiant as well as the opening and ending songs. Just like travelling back to the splendour of Camelot and King Arthur's Court!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Must for Prince Valiant Fans, April 14, 2004
This review is from: The Legend Of Prince Valiant (The Animated Series) (Audio CD)
I love this cartoon series and had been toying with buying the CD for awhile now. I'm glad I finally caved and bought it because it made me appreciate the show's music even more. "Where the Truth Lies" is longer than what we've all heard on the cartoon, and "Love Called Out My Name" puts beautiful words to a love theme that is frequently played in the series. Some of the titles suprised me, particularly "Sir Bryant" and "Valiant and Rolf," because I don't necessarily associate that music piece with those characters. And a couple of the more distinctive music selections were missing that I wish had been included. But that's just me being an obsessive fan - the music that is here is excellent and varies in tone from triumphant to jubilant to suspenseful. Fans of the series and fans of instrumental music in general should all enjoy this CD.
