5.0 out of 5 stars The Genius known as Saviour Machine!, October 12, 2008
This review is from: Legend Pt.1 (Audio CD)
This album introduced me to Saviour Machine, well actually two songs on a various Artist CD and from there i brought all of their albums! This CD is the beginning of one of the greatest epics in Modern Rock History. Saviour Machine is one of the most creative bands out there and the style they use fits the story they wish to tell "The end of the world"!

This album is the most doomiest album they have put out, this album starts off with a great musical intro, this sets the tone of the album. This album has been described to me as "depressing" and it is very down tempo, which is what I like about it and it sets the mood for the what is going to happen. He is about to tell the story of "how the world ends" and do you want him singing it in an upbeat way, where it sounds like he is happy for it, or do you want him to present it in a down temp beat that borders on Doom?

This album shows how he can reach out and play with the emotion of the listener, make them feel sad that the world is coming to an end. He invites you on a journey that will span four albums and listen to the "sound track to the end of the world".

5.0 out of 5 stars The Beginning of the Largest Musical Epic Ever, November 20, 2003
By
This review is from: Legend Pt.1 (Audio CD)
Legend Part 1: The beginning of the end. This progressive goth metal act undertakes one of the biggest stories in existence for their conceptual masterworks: Legend. It is the story of the end of the world.

This band combines rock, metal, classical, opera (to some extent), progressive, and goth to make one of the most complete (although the story is not complete) albums out there. The story of Revelation and the treasures and horrors that are seen are all brought into focus. They sing of both the good, the bad, the damned, and the saved. They leave nothing out.

Legend Part 2, Legend 3:1, and the yet to be released Legend 3:2 are what follows. Get them all so you can sing, cry, and hope your way through hell and reach heaven once more!

5.0 out of 5 stars Revelation, June 7, 2007
This review is from: Legend Pt.1 (Audio CD)
Revelation never sounded so good...The wait is almost over for the final CD...I can't wait. Legend is one of the greatest musical accomplishments that the earth has ever seen. Saviour Machine really broke the mold with this one.
