But I try to do it in a way that feels real, and not fantasized. :) Currently, I'm working on book 2 of the new jaguar shifter series, but still am working on wolf book number 12 and 13! Cameron and Faith separately set out for the wilderness of Maine, both for different reasons. Fate brings them together. But the danger of the wild outdoors and their enemies could tear them apart.

Since I haven't read the books previous to this one, I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy this book. But both the story and the characters pulled me in very early on. For me the brightest point is the character, Cameron MacPherson. I liked the sexy hero right away. Very charming and commanding, and plus he's a lover of urban fantasy. Really what's not to like?

Legend of the White Wolf is a fast paced story with both elements of paranormal and mystery. Passions and danger run high, which makes for an exciting read. One not to be missed. This is the 4th book in Ms. Spear's Werewolf series, but can be read as a stand alone.

LEGEND OF THE WHITE WOLF by Terry Spear: Once again Terry has outdone herself. Love to read her books and "become" a wolf for a while. Her "good guys" are truely lovable and the "bad dudes" are SO bad...the ones you love to hate! Keep writing, Terry. Who knows! Maybe werewolves really do exist among us.

Cameron's friends went hunting but they should have been back by now. When Cameron decides to search for them, he encounters something unbelievable.

Faith's father told stories of "man-wolves" and Faith is determined to find out the truth. Is her father off his rocker or do they really exist?

Cameron and Faith meet and the sparks fly. While searching, they find a group of people who want to slaughter the werewolves. The problem is, Cameron and Faith are part of the werewolf species. Will the wolves be able escape the hunters or will werewolves be added to the endangered species list?

Terry is a queen of romance. She's great at building up a story and knows how to deliver. I really enjoyed reading this book and I'm adding Terry to my favorite authors list.

I first found this series when I was on a reading rampage last year. I just went online and looked for anything in the Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance Realm. I found so many cool Authors and Series that way and this one was definitely one of those.

If you've read a few of my reviews you'll know that I have a thing for shifters and the ones Terry has created are definitely in the running to being some of the hottest out there!

Each book in the series follows the journey of different Wolf Shifters to finding their HEA (Happily Ever After). They live in secrecy in a world just like our on and are spread out around the world, divided in packs.

A lot of action, animal magnetism and smex make up for a great read! I found that the first book was a little sketchy, like the author was still trying to find her voice. However, with each book it got better and better. With Legend of The White Wolf I can say that Terry Spear has found her voice and The Heart of The Wolf Series is smut at its best.

My Least Favorite Book in The Series So Far: Heart of The Wolf (Book #1) - I really enjoyed Bella and Dvlyn's story, but I said, it was a bit of a sketchy start.

My Favorite Book in The Series So Far: Legend of The White Wolf (Book #4) - I Loved that the main couple started of as humans, it was an interesting twist and very entertaining to read. I loved it!

This Series has become an automatic pre-order for me, the last couple of books I pre-ordered months in advance and I have already pre-ordered the next one too, I can't wait!

This is the first book i read in her series of wolves. I like the highland ones the best. Somehow makes an implausible situation more plausible if they have an accent and wear kilts for part of the book. :)
She is a wonderful writer, light reading, keeps you interested.

Legend of the White Wolf is the fourth in Terry Spears series. Something is up in the tiny snow encased town. Faith is chasing her recently departed boyfriend who heads into the woods. Cameron's work associates disappeared in the same forest leaving cryptic, barely audible phone messages. The townsfolk elevate uncooperative to an art form when Faith starts asking questions.

Faith O'Malley is hot on the trail of her boyfriend. Make that ex-boyfriend. If leaving without a word wasn't bad enough. He took the flash drive with all her father's research on it. Her father was convinced what was on the drive would make his career. It looked like Hilson thought so too, only he wanted it for his career. How could she have been so blind? Faith stomps into her hotel mad at her ex, herself, and the need for the trip in the first place. It doesn't help that the chatty desk clerk gave her the wrong key.

Cameron MacPherson is worried about his business partners. Said they were going hunting with a tour that uses wolves to scare out the prey. Then out of nowhere, he gets a call stating both his partners, Owen and David quit, and aren't even coming back. How weird is that? Too weird for an ex-cop and military man, which is why he flew in to investigate.

Cameron and Faith meet early on and sparks ignite. The problems start to pile up along with the bodies. As a forensic investigator, Faith discovers silver in the corpses. It is an odd way to kill a person, but not a werewolf. The mystery deepens as someone continues to thwart Faith's search.

The snow, isolation, even the cold takes on a dangerous edge. This isn't fluffy snowball type of snow. The story is populated by the type of winter storms that freeze people in their tracks, mere feet from their home.... Add to that, silvery wolves that slip through the woods with scarcely a sound. The story moves well, and throws real issues at both Faith and Cameron.

Legend of the White Wolf would probably be shelved as a paranormal romance, but also contains elements if suspense. I applaud Ms. Spears handling of the wolves. Well done, I don't consider myself a paranormal fan, but I am now a Terry Spears fan. Read more ›
