Though it only contains music from Majora's Mask, this soundtrack is excellent in every way. The music is sharper and clearer than it is in the game. It is a 2-CD set with 112 tracks total. I just got it in the mail today, and the only time I took a break was to write this review. I really can't stop listening to it. Like Zelda music? Buy this one.

If you love Zelda this record is for you. It's music directly from the game so if you want to learn the songs then its perfect. If your a causual fan it is definitly not for you.

Think $20 for the full Majora's Mask soundtrack is too great? It is. The marketplace sellers are selling illegit Taiwanese pirated soundtracks. The authentic Japanese release is unfortunately a rarity, and highly priced. If you look at the pirated product and the featured Amazon picture of the original album closely, you'll see that there are differences, like the catalogue number at the upper left corner. The same soundtrack has also received an official Nintendo promotional release in the US, with different packaging and English track listing, but all the same music.

What is here is kind of a mixed back. Majora's Mask contains a lot of Ocarina of Time's music, but the new material improves upon Ocarina's score, crammed onto one CD. Majora's Mask consists of captivating ambient tracks, heart-pounding battle compositions and some really atmospheric songs like the ethereal, hypnotic Last Day. Zelda fans are also in for a treat, as the Zora band's rearrangements of the classic Zelda compositions from the series' earlier iterations have been included on the album. Tracks like the original Zelda's dungeon theme still prove their strength in the arrangements.


There is still the sense of cramming too much into too little space, with many great tracks being too short. Also, all the little jingles and sound effects really disrupt the listening experience. I am slightly torn on whether to award the soundtrack 3 or 4 stars: the short track lengths and the constant jingles are really bad enough to make me consider dropping that fourth star. Altogether, I think that the good outweighs the bad, and Majora's stirring compositions have enough credence to keep the fourth star. After all, you can leave the jingles out from your playlist, and what is left is of high quality. Nevertheless, be wary: the authentic Japanese release will not come cheap. With Nintendo's official US release you might have luck finding it used, though.

If you loved the music from the Majora's Mask game you'll LOVE this cd! It has every song in it totaling to 112 tracks!!!The only downside is it only runs through the song once. Other than this cd rocks!! If your a zelda fan this is a must buy!!!

I recently got the Ocarina of Time original soundtrack. If you're looking for a return to the good old time you first played the game, GET THIS. This will make you remember everything and it is a *must* for any video game soundtrack collectors library. The titles are in Japanese, but I'm sure theres a place you can find a list of the titles converted to Enlgish, and if you're good enough like me, you can match the tunes to the tunes in the game. It's a bit on the pricey side, but is truly a great album, 2 discs. I can't wait for more Nintendo soundtracks!

This is a great cd pack. It is 2 cd's, 1 hour and 59 minutes approximately. It is nice and long and has all the songs from Majora's Mask, including the Indigo-Go's songs and temple music. It improved on Ocarina of Time, like where the Lost Woods on the Ocarina of Time soundtrack was about 30 seconds (one loop) the same song on Majora's Mask for Woods of Mystery is 1:30 (3 loops.) So a lot of the recurring tracks on here are longer. You will love it!

This soundtrack is great! It has 2 CDs, each one with over 50 songs. It is not an easy one to find, either. If you love the music of Majora's Mask, you should buy this CD. It's worth every penny!

Well being a fan of Zelda I felt it was necessary to get the music for one of my favorite games of all time (almost ten years later ^^). For $80.00 though, Its was steep risk I thought. with hearing about the fake pirated ones, but in the end at it was worth it. I bought my copy from the seller any_book, and it was the real deal, the complete ~Japanese~ soundtrack, Everything is in Japanese (even in ITunes) so you would have to get a track listing. Even though in-game there were sound problems the track is a better audio quality. But,If you have an extremely fine tuned ear for music you might notice that there are mistakes in the CD, like crackles here and there but they are very minute, and I don't think most would notice them. Either way this is a fine piece of music for any fans library and I would recommend it.

The actual soundtrack is a wonderful soundtrack, and the copy I recieved had not flaws in it. However, it should be known, that this is not official in the least. Great buy, none the less, but I know some people are a little touchy over that sort of thing.
