If your a Zelda fan like me and like Zelda a lot this is the book for you. It has great pictures (the only one with better pictures is the Official Nintendo one and that guide isn't that great) It gives you step-by-step information and great for the temples and dungeons, skulltula's,and pieces of heart, as well as boss strategies! It is also fun to read and packed with lots of information (this guide must have taken a LONG time in the making) And when the new Zelda game comes out, Legend of Zelda: Majora's Masks comes out i'll be looking for Prima's guide and I hope it's good! So don't be tricked by the Nintendo Official (uh oh bad sign no good secrets not even the ocarina songs and worse yet writing the songs in the guide! ) anyways this is the best guide for Zelda 64 and you can't go wrong buying it (even if you mastered it and beat without a guide) It's great and I give it 999,999,999,999 stars. This is an awesome book to go with an awesome game! It tells you everything you want to know about Zelda. Plus it tells you the location of every item. And every heart container/heart piece in the game. This guide took some time to make and is excellent! If your having trouble at Zelda get this guide it will help you. And it's a good read. Also step-by-step walkthroughs of all dungeon, temples, and secret areas! PLUS the location of ALL 100 gold skulltulas! It even has the info for all the past Zelda games (like names and the year the gamea came out) when the new Zelda game comes out, Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (Japanese: Legend of Zelda: Majora no Kamen) I will be looking for Prima's guide! So if your looking for the best guide for this game it's Prima's. Nintendo's doesn't even give you the ocarina songs! So make sure you buy this guide!

I think this guide book is the best because its full of pictures, no swearing contained. Even thought this book doesn't provide everything, it leaves some stuff for you to figure out yourself, and thats what makes The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time a great game. Unlike some other players of the game, they complained that the book does not give every single detail, well what do you expect? Let the book guide you thorough the game? And what's so fun about that? Thats boring! Be smart and take the challenge!

If you have the game, then you should get this! It has amazingly accurate details on all of the temples and dungeons. Even though sometimes the directions are a bit confusing, the pictures (taken from the game itself) will always guide you back to where you need to be. Even though I beat the game without it's help, I never would have found all 100 gold sculitulas or every heart piece without it. I am not suggesting that you read your way through the book, because what's the fun without a challenge? You should buy it and put it on a shelf for when you need it. When you are stumped, you can expect the best help there is to offer with the accuracy of this book!

This book takes you step by step and the descriptions are clear. Although it may take a while to acutally complete the game while trying to read a player's guide at the same time, it does not take away from the excitement.

And a big plus would be that this guide doesn't take away from the plot. BEWARE those that do!

I have all of the guides for the Ocarina of Time (I know, I cheat!), and this is by far the best guide for dealing with the dungeons. (If you want help finding ALL of the secrets, the Official Guide has good information for exploring the outside world of Hyrule.) The best part about this guide is that the dungeon sections give you a detailed maps and disclose the secrets of each individual room. Overall, the walk-throughs are easy to follow, and there is a handy list of songs at the end (in case you are like me and don't take the time to memorize all of the songs). In a perfect world, we would never have to use a guide, but if you are busy and cannot spend 24 hours a day gaming, this book is a great investment!

Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of Time is the best game ever created.Its a masterpicece.You would need a book with that masterpiece and this should be the one(either that or Zelda:ocarina of Time offical nintendo players guide).The game and book is faboulous. You won't be dissopined with this game or book.

Not being a "game" person, I must admit to having to struggle through the most simple of computer and other electronic type games. I simply could not have completed this one on my own. If this guide helped me, then I certainly feel it would be helpful to anyone! Ghe graphics in this book are excellent and the instructions are quite easy to follow. Recommened this one highly.

This is a great companion to the game. It is descriptive and offers a number of strategies for certain situations. I noticed a couple of flaws in it, but nothing major. For example, in the back where it describes where to find all the gold skultulas, it usually has what you need to get it, what dungeon or town it is in, and where it is in the dungeon or town. However, one of them had the dungeons in one column, but what you need to use to get it in two coulmns, so I had no idea where to find it, even after searching. I think there is another flaw, but that is about it. They are very minor and don't take away the fact that this is a great guide!
