This review is from: The Legendary Blobshocker (Paperback)
The bottom line is that this book was written by a boy who has autism. His character, Blobshocker finds its way to Planet Earth. This looks like the kind of thing a child would do in a classroom and proudly take home, stapled and bound as a "book." The only reasons this made the status of "real book" is that a) the author has autism and b) the author was a child at the time this was written. I think the only reasons anybody would read it (other than those who know and love the child and treasure his work on a personal basis) is because the author has autism. Readers learn more from the boy's mother from her input than they do from reading this book.

I much prefer James Williams' Out to Get Jack Williams, himself diagnosed with autism as a child is a gifted young author and "Out to Get Jack" contains Beatle humor; a satirical look at how the world treats people with Asperger's Syndrome and a cast of very interesting and eclectic characters. This book, unlike "Blobshocker," will delight all audiences and readers will come back for more regardless of age and former autism of this author. "Jack" will resonate in the mind long after you turn the final page.
