3.0 out of 5 stars Material over craftsmanship
Wonderful performances, but the labels on the individual cds are wrong. You may have to do some hunting through the discs to find the piece you wanted to hear, but that's okay because every recording is a gem.

The labeling on "The Abduction form the Seraglio" is fine; only the "Don Giovanni" and "Fidelio" got mislabeled. I just put them in my laptop to see which side it is, (individual tracks are perfect), and then took my fine point, black, permanent magic marker and put the correct title and disc number on the clear plastic sleeve. By the way, the sleeves that Bravissimo used are really protective, not like those cheap cardboard sleeves that scratch up the discs. "The Marriage of Figaro", "Hansel and Gretel" and "Cosi fan tutte" are also correct. If you want some wonderful, Schwarzkopf opera history (14-CDs) for under $20. with Guido Cantelli, von Karajan, Rudolf Moralt and William Furtwängler conducting--enjoy!
