If you collect, shoot or just love rifles you need this book. I bought it the year it was released and have spent many hours with it. Although it provides the technical data for each rifle, it is extremely easy to read and understand. There are 28 rifles presented and each is given a separate chapter. The author thoroughly reviews the history of each firearm in a manner that makes this book a unique collection of individual histories. I have used it many times as a research tool. Take my advice, buy this book!
