This album is what I consider to be the signature work of RGF.
This is a solo bass album, no other instruments are used, but
there are multiple bass tracks on the tunes.
This work shines a bright light on what the man does. He plays
bass as a virtuoso, his playing is lyric, vocal, melodic. It
is his own voice. In his compositions he layers bass sounds
and brings forth a beauty that few musicians can share with
the world.
If you are curious about what the bass can be in the hands of
a master, buy this album. If you like this, buy the rest of
his work.
I am dissapointed that few in the US know who this man is. You
can tell by the "availablilty" of this album that we are missing
something special.

This a complete genius work.
Renaud is very famous in Europe but here in USA.
Highly recommended for all lovers of classical and world music.
He create and entire band sound just with a 5 strings double bass!!
