Starting off, I gave the book a 5 because I LOVED the series so far and this book did not let me down......lore wise.

What saddened me most was how poorly this book was published/assembled. The design was just different from the other three and the text size was wrong and the grammar mistakes were just flat out atrocious. I can forgive a few mistakes here and there, but when Darkhorse is being read as D$(orse and Bedlam is Beiiam, that's just unforgivable. The chapters felt as if they ran together with no real division and in the case of a few paragraphs it did! I was reading a discussion between two characters and next thing I know i'm reading one between two others that are located far off in another city.

Again, I loved the book and story as always, but the structure and build of this book almost prevented me from completing it.

This volume contains the 2 books missing from the previous collections (which both take place before Shade) as well as all of the missing short stories. With the publication of this collection, now all Dragonrealm stories are back in print as well as all of the short stories which were previously only available through PDF or E-book.

The book is fine. This reprint copy is not. So many spelling and print errors it is difficult to ignore much less read. Names can change from one paragraph to another. Quotes from multiple characters are run together so that you not sure who said what. Buy from someone reputable if you wish to enjoy.

It would have been 5 star's but for repeating spelling errors. The book is a typical dragonrealm story & still a good read

Not like I remember from my son's childhood (I used to read the stories to him at night).

You definitely need to read these books in order but Volume 4 not only continues on but also goes back in time as well. Really good read.
