Eric Tingstad (guitar) and Nancy Rumbel (woodwinds:oboe, clarinet, occarina) have been making acoustic albums of sheer beauty earning themselves two Grammys in their career!This crucial re-release of two early albums show off how important and beautiufl their early work is. Their music is melodic but not overwhelming. The sounds are peaceful but not boring! The two have such a sympatico that it is reflected in their compositions. Eric's guitar is pure craftmanship and Nancy's woodwinds are both soaring, playful and just beautiful! Legend and Emerald (with keyboardist Spencer Brewer) have been hard-to-find deleted albums that now finally have a chance to be enjoyed again! Buy this special set rereleased by Narada and enjoy acoustic intrumental music! I hihgly reccomend this CD for those who look for music to read to or just music to provide a soundtrack for the seasons!

2003 remastered sound is superb. Legends is their best cd & deserves the upgrade. Too bad this is oop. I found a copy from Wal Mart.
