James Horner has written some beautiful scores in his career and I think that this is one of his best ones. "The Ludlows" is a touching theme that produces so much emotion. My 5 year old said, when he heard it, "Daddy, turn this off. It's making me sad!". And what a great value! 75 minutes of music for this price? Thanks, Amazon!

I can listen to this soundtrack over and over. It brings back vivid images from the music. The music is beautiful and haunting. I love the native american theme that comes from the pipes that are played throughout the cd. If you enjoyed the movie or just the music that went with the movie, I think you'll love this cd!

I Bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. Said it was really good.

I purchased this CD years ago shortly after seeing the movie for the 2nd or 3rd time. As an avid movie watcher quite a bit of the entertainment is driven by the musical score. Legends of the Fall would not be as poignant without this soundtrack. I loaned a friend my CD -and never got it back. I was in the process of purchasing each song on iTunes when I tried Amazon and to my delight it was here and at a great price. I got my order within a few days of ordering and have been enjoying it every since. Have even added it to my iPod. If you get it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

James Horner...such moving music! It has been years since I watched the movie but haven't forgotten the music. You can feel yourself being propelled through such a range of emotions with this soundtrack (as well as his other works).

I love to play this Cd while I'm grading math papers....... YES, I'm serious!
