Billie Jean’s contribution to Wimbledon during the late 60's and early 70's and the influence she had on the tennis world was, and is, immense. She is a six-time Ladies' Singles Champion and a 10-time Ladies Doubles Champion; quite an incredible achievement. Today, King remains an icon and continues to be an active part of Wimbledon in her role as a television commentator. This program features a key interview with King as well as comments from other fellow professional tennis players, coaches and commentators, cut together with footage from past Championships.

This is a very nice overview of Ms King's Wimbledon career with some additional info on her world-wide experiences. My only gripe is that I wish there had been a lot more focus on her Wimbledon career & save the additional stuff for another DVD. She has made such a huge contribution to the game of tennis that I simply don't think any singe DVD can really do a good job. This is a DVD worth owning if you either know about her life or want to see into the life of one of the greatest players in the sport of tennis.
