minor zombie novel,
By David Group (Buffalo, NY) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Legion of the Dead (Paperback)
This is as much a political novel about the attempt to overthrow the dictatorship of a Caribbean country as it is a novel about zombies and voodoo. An American writer visiting the country of San Marlo becomes caught up in a revolutionary movement to overthrown the repressive government, which carries out killings and kidnappings with the help of a zombie army. While it is a decent read, there really aren't enough details about politics or voodoo to make this novel special. Recommended for those who don't like their horror novels with gallons of gore.
