the definitive encyclopedia of american immigration policy,
By Patrick Sullivan (patrick@teleport.com) (reed college) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Legislative History of American Immigration Policy: 1798-1965 (Hardcover)
This book is really good, it's the one everyone else uses to write their books on immigration. First it goes through the policy changes chronologically, with exerpts from congressional hearings, etc., and then goes on to examine different aspects of immigration, like refugees, quotas, literacy tests, etc in detail. !que bueno!
