This review is from: LEGO Bionicle Kopaka (8536) (Toy)
All six of the original Toa are constructed basically the same: a body with a gear that moves one or both arms (Pohatu's body is upside down, so it moves his leg instead), four limbs, and a head with a distinctive mask. They're all pretty solid once built, except for the masks (which are SUPPOSED to come off), and when a piece comes off it goes back on easily (they are Legos after all).Anyway, onward to Kopaka. His weapon of choice is a sword, which (according to the Bionicle comic book from a while back) can fire sort of a freeze ray from the tip. He's also the only Toa to have a shield, which is a good sign for the Toa of Ice's intelligence. There's technically nowhere to put these when he's not using them, but if you're clever you can attach the shield to one of the holes in the sword, then use the other hole to attach the sword to the back of his non-moving shoulder using the little gray part that holds his shield on. His gear causes him to attack with his sword by default, but you can always put the gears in backwards or borrow a gear from another Toa and have it move his shield. Kopaka wears the Mask of Vision, which doesn't really affect how you play with the toy but at least it looks cool. Kopaka is decently posable, and you can get more poses by taking off his parts and attaching them differently. Overall, it has problems, but by being made of Legos it solves pretty much all of them.

I got this from my grandfather because he figured since i already have the other 5. I thought it was going to be hard to put the left arm together because it looked complicated but i was wrong. the durability is ok except when around babies. my sister always takes it apart! If i can't find him, I always remember putting him in the freezer and thats were i find him!!

Hi! I come from long island. Im a true bionicle fan. I've been collecting since 2000 or 2001 (cant remember when they came out). Currently out of the 50 or more sets I have a total of 20. Ever since I went to florida and got this it has been my favorite. To all who dont know it some people say the toa are brothers and related and are different ages. THEY ARENT. those people dont know those ideas were forgotten long ago. Also the story is that a spirit called mata nui came down from to the iland. Since matanui brought happeness to the island the Matoran and Turaga named it after him. then his "spirit brother" came from the heavans and put matanui in a deep sleep. Using Infected Masks he controlled creatures known as rahi and terrorized the island. because of his dark powers the inhabitants weakend. then the six heros called the toa came to defeat makuta. kopaka comes with Kanohi Akaku Great mask of X-ray vision. As the toa of Ice he protects the villagers of Ko-koro and makes his home in Mount Ihu. The toy is really cool and can be combined with Gali and Lewa to kreate Toa Kaita Whariua. (sorry didnt indent)
