The LEGO Story The name 'LEGO' is an abbreviation of the two Danish words "leg godt", meaning "play well". It's our name and it's our ideal. The LEGO Group was founded in 1932 by Ole Kirk Christiansen. The Company has passed from father to son and remains a family owned business even today: Owned by Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen, a grandchild of the founder. It has come a long way over the past almost 80 years - from a small carpenter's workshop to a modern, global enterprise. The LEGO Group is a privately held company based in Billund, Denmark. The company is still owned by the Kirk Kristiansen family who founded it in 1932. The LEGO Group is engaged in the development of children's creativity through playing and learning and it is this core philosophy that is built into every LEGO brand watch and clock. The LEGO Ninjago Cole Minifigure Alarm Clock introduces an exciting new character from LEGO's newest Brand Family - Ninjago! This alarm clock is made to scale of a genuine LEGO Cole Minifigure. Cole has movable arms and legs as well as a detachable toy sword. The digital display lights up in red when you push down the head, whether to make the alarm snooze for 5 minutes or just to check the time that gives you a 12 hour/ 24 hour option.

Was fine with me...my grandson was the one so excited!

He doesn't use it for the actual alarm part (but every feature works), but he plays with it all the time.

Looks exactly like the little Lego people & is part of one of his favorite shows, so it was a win-win.

Just received this in the mail and let my son open it. He was thrilled! And the fact that it comes with batteries pre-installed is an even bigger plus. (It's kinda nice that this isn't a corded alarm clock; no need to worry about power outages.)

It's a little smaller than I had originally anticipated, but that's my own fault for not looking at the dimensions. (It's about 9" tall).

I was quite pleased with how rugged it appears to be. That having been said, though, you should keep in mind that this is NOT a toy. Well, okay, it IS a toy, but not one that's designed for the rough play of a 7-year-old.

I was also pleased with the balance of this clock/toy. You can easily pose it in a variety of positions and it doesn't fall over. It's also kinda neat that if you press down on the head, it lights up to show you the time (or activates the snooze feature if the alarm's going off).

Bottom line: Nice product, good value.

I waited too long to order so it didn't end up under the tree, but my 8-year-old was SOOOOOOOOO excited when it came a few days later that it didn't matter. The kid that I had to practically shove out of bed in the morning now gets up on his own. It has helped ALL of us in the mornings -- and the best part is he also gets to play with it! This is often the Master of Ninjagos when he plays with all his Legos. I love it! (and so does he!)

Bought this item for my grandson. He absolutely loves it! He uses the alarm every morning to get up for school and enjoys showing it to his friends. In addition, since he enjoys LEGO items, the clock was a perfect addition to his collection.

I bought this as a birthday gift for a 6 year old boy I nanny. He LOVES it! He doesn't use it for the actual alarm part (but every feature works), but he plays with it all the time. He also has the ninjago Kai alarm clock, so he plays with them together a lot. He can get a little crazy with the sword thing, but he's 6 so what do you expect? A must have for Ninjago loving kids!
