this is a great toy. the rhotoka spinners are really cool!!!!!

the weapons are flexible and the design is awesome!!!

you have to get it!!!

toa vakama is ace but with a few glitches. Number one the flames on his weapons are rubbery! Number two his right arm {facing front} sticks out! But apart from that it is ace. His rhotuka can spin up to 50 feet! His mask is the coolest i have ever seen! And to top that up with an ace storyline to go with him makes this the coolest year for bionicle ever! Now all we have to do is wait to see what he looks like in BIONICLE 3 WEB OF SHADOWS!

they're durable and funny, i'm 13 but my father of 40 play with them too. is very pleasing play in family making fussions and fighting with them. i have a great expirience with that to learn a little bit of mechanics.

My son selected the Bionicle Vakama and was very pleased with his purchase. He loves to mix & match pieces from the Bionicles to create his own after he's built the original model.

The Toa Hordika are a new thing for the Lego group, and Vakama, being the red one, is the most popular as it seems. In the storyline he is tormented by his now emerging darker side, not sure if he can even pull off the mission Lhikan had entrusted with him, defiant, and eventually he gets so bad that he believes the other Toa are only holding him back. If you watch Bionicle 3 you will see these events unfold, and see the horrible things that transpire because of Vakama's rashness. But don't worry, in the end everything turns out alright...well, except for the fact that the Toa lose all their power, their city is in ruins, and they must leave their home. Yeah.

As for the toy: One of the two great contreversies about him is that he has a rubbery tip for the weapon, and he is unsymmetrical. The bigger arm looks and functions great, putting a new spin on the arm movements of the past. He really looks like a mutant too, but still looks vaguely like the Toa Metru version of himself from 2004. He is a little hollow looking because of the silver plate, but the Rhotuka function makes up for that. You can't specifically aim the spinner, but just letting it go can be great. Be warned, it is easy to lose, but the set comes with two and you can buy a five pack of them for about two dollars. My only real complaint is all the silver on him, which Bionicle fans know has been going on for awhile. I say check out the Visorak sets, because they have great new color schemes and look surprisingly good when battling with the

Toa Hordika.

I've gotten this one recently. I customized it and added it to my unbeatable Bionicle army. The thing that annoys me though is that the flame weapons are RUBBERY! I can't make a new weapon out of something that has no stable structure. BIG disappointment! The thing that made me want to get it is the Rhotuka spinners. They go 50 ft! The only thing I have to do now is make a way to snipe with them. I'm off to brainstorm!

i just ordered this. it hasn't even come in but i really wanted it because of the movie. That was a good one but at the end it shows the end of the1st movie. So that means the small red guy is vakama and i don't get that... but anyway don't listen to the part that says make you own legends because thats code for spend all your money on these sets. Wow lego is evil when you think about it that way. But great toy i very good one. Get it now. No Now. DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I think is cool about this bionicle is that it has a spinner ot it! The spinner can really fly, and it can go 25-50ft!!! Also, if you have bionicle comic #22, they list multiplayer games you can play with the spinners. There are other bionicles with spinners and every new bionicle in 2005 is going to have a spinner!
