It is great that you can buy these train track pieces in smaller sets like this, but buyer beware...they are 1/4th of this price if you order directly from Lego (shipping much cheaper also). But as for the actual product, they work with all of the Lego Duplo cars that I have, not just the Thomas train sets...which can help you build a nice little chugga chugga choo choo set for your little one to play with for a lot less than the Thomas sets.

The illustrations lead you to believe these tracks are about six inches long, but they are much shorter. Even the box is much longer than the tracks are.

We are Duplo train crazy!! They are far better than any other "model railroads" designed for very young children. Unlike the wooden "Thomas" or "Brio" type tracks or other cheaper plastic train tracks, they are easy for little hands to put together and they STAY TOGETHER when driven over, bumped, moved, used, and even when pushed and crawled over by toddlers and babies. These tracks are designed so that you can put them right on the floor and connect them together with just the regular little stickie-outie circles that hook into each other. (Similar to all model railroad sets.) However, (where these rise far above the competition), for a connection that stays together with children crawling over it and even picking sections up and carrying them around, you can put a 2x4 brick UNDERNEATH the track (right under the connection) and it "legos" them together--preventing them from separating. Ingenious!!! It does make the track sit up off the ground slightly, but who cares! It also allows the track to be set up not only on hardwood floor or a train table, but even on carpeting! And it still works great! Forget all those other ridiculously expensive model railroad sets for kids. Go with Legos. You won't be disappointed. (I recommend buying them from the Lego website, however, because they are half the cost.)

I got this set of rails to my son's existing rail tracks so we can build more. They are in spotless condition as expected.

On a recent trip to Texas from CA. to see my two grandchildren I was wondering what to get them for Christmas. I decided to wait until I had found out what they wanted instead of just buying them clothes or something that would be forgotten minutes after they opened the gift. Well, I hit a home run with this set of train tracks because along with the Lego train set I purchased locally, little two year old Craig was going to receive a train table to set up his own layout. Every morning now instead of rushing to the TV, he is found quietly playing with his Thomas the Tank Engine train set and all the track to set up the layout just the way he wants it. Thanks for the fast service and offering the right stuff.

This Track Set Dose NOT fit Thomas Mega Block Tacks. So we are returning We couldn't find at the time Mega Blocks Track so we will be looking for Those now.
