My husband and I were both lego enthusiasts as children, and now our 22 month old daughter is too! We bought this for her first birthday, and she just loves it. It is easier for her to snap the legos together when she has this sturdy surface to press down on, and it is just the right height... she kneels or sits in her little child's chair and builds her lego creations. Also recommended is the large lego bin... this table doesn't come with very many pieces. The large bin fits perfectly underneath the table for storage.

My daughters are ages 4 & 2...they both love this little table. They are learning to share and build together. They just sit on the floor stacking legos instead of watching TV! How great!

This table is the perfect solution if your kids like playing with Legos but get frustrated that everything they build falls over. The table is big enough to hold almost anything your kids will want to build but small enough so that it doesn't completely dominate the room like the bigger tables do. It's light enough for toddlers to move it around by themselves if they have to, and it's a good height for smaller kids to use while kneeling on the floor and bigger kids to use while sitting. It's also extremely sturdy: I've had it for about a year and a half, and despite my pleas my two toddlers constantly use it to stand on, jump off of, etc, but it still looks as good as new. My only complaint, and it's a very minor one, is that it would be nice if the side pockets held more pieces.

I purchased this for my two year old son for his birthday, he loves it! He plays with this all day. It not only boosts his creative side but he learns colors and counting as well.It is very compact, we leave it in our family room and best of all you can store the legos in the side compartments. I would recommend that you also order an additional bucket of lego blocks, it only comes with a few blocks, not enough to build cool stuff with. My husband and I find ourselves on the floor playing with our son, it's lots of fun :)

I got this for my boys last year for Christmas. They were 4 and 2 1/2 at the time. It has been the most played with of everything they got. And it's sturdy enough that my 9 month old can pull up to it and bang blocks on it!

My children, ages 23 months and 10 months, play with this table everyday. They absolutely love it. My son (the youngest) actually pulled up to this table before anything else just a few months ago. He loves to put the blocks in the sides and get them back out. While my daughter loves to build things on the table. It keeps them entertained throughout the day - and they play so nicely together at this table. The size of this table is PERFECT - it doesn't take over our playroom - yet it is big enough that my children can enjoy playing/building at it! Definitely a good toy for any child to have!
I would suggest buying additional Lego's to go with it (we got a tub full of "Lego Explore" blocks and that's plenty for now)! Makes building so much more fun!

Just so you know, this table is designed for the large Duplo size Lego bricks. That said, it is a wonderful building table for a toddler to preschooler. My son (17 months old) just loves this table. It is the perfect size for him and it is low to the ground so that he can play with it sitting, kneeling, or standing. It is also very easy to put together and holds up to daily use. It is also sturdy enough to be pushed around (in typical toddler fashion) without being tipped over. The two legs are hollow and hold the Duplo bricks for easy storage and play. Be aware that the table only comes with about 16 bricks which really don't allow for much building. I recommend purchasing an additional tub like the 140 piece Duplo play tub.
I know others have said that the surface area of this toy is too small. We have found it to be the perfect size and you can't beat the price. Buy this table for now while your child is young and still using Duplo blocks. I have looked at other Duplo tables, and yes, they do have a larger surface area, but they are also 5 times the cost. I know that children graduate to Lego blocks at about 5 or 6 years of age. I will buy him another larger table that accommodates those bricks and also serves as a play or train table then. Right now my son enjoys this table and it is a favorite in our house.

I purchased this Lego table for my 17-month old triplets, as the box said that this would be appropriate for ages 1 1/2 and up. Well, only one of the three babies was able to use the toy, and only minimally at that. Although these are not the smallest-sized Lego's, they are still a bit difficult for toddlers to manipulate and push onto the table. We spent many an hour chasing after Legos that would "zing" across the room after an unsuccessful attempt at pushing them onto the table. They all love "Mega-Block" sized Lego toys, but I would wait until about age 2 to use this table with your little ones. Just a note--I think that they are now recommending this be used for ages 2 and up. If you purchase this table, I would also recommend purchasing the bucket of Duplo blocks, as the pockets on either side of the table hold them easily.

My 2 year old daugter just got this and she loves it, it's like i hardly ever see her anymore, everytimr we come home from somewhere that table is the first place that she goes. the lego table is good to build a child's color ability and also helps them to tell the differance in shapes. overall I think this lego table is worth your money...if you have a small child.
