This review is from: Legs United: The Phantom Footballer and Fair Play or Foul (Leggs United) (Audio Cassette)
The Phantom Footballer is written by Alan Duran and has many challenging words although I wouldn't recomend it to age 12 upwards. This book is about a family having to play the Muddington Colts in the Holt Nolan Football Challenge. The family are so worried about getting beat they don't want to put on some members of the family as they are under 10. Whilst all hopes down Dan and Sam find an old ball in the attic and take down to the shed to clean it and pump it up.When they were cleaning it they fell as if a genie was to come out of the ball so they start chanting and suddenly a ghostly figure apears. It turns out that the ghostly figure is one of their ancestors named Archibald Legg. As he builds up their confidence they agree to play and he agrees to coach the team.

Will Archie coach the team to victory or will they get humilliated? READ IT AND FIND OUT!!
