very classy item,
A Kid's Review
This camera bag is very classy, leather quality is perfect. Yet it is tightly fitting the Leica Dlux4 and in case you want to use the brilliant viewfinder+other items,of course, it becomes too small. It is very expensive, depends if you are sensitive to the Leica touch and design or not. But the quality is very good.

Glove Snug Fit for this camera,

Perfect fit for the D-Lux 4 (unless you have the viewfinder in the hot shoe). There is also a sturdy belt loop so you can keep the camera parked on your hip, secure and out of the way. Snap cover opens easily for quick retrieval and put away. A bit over priced, but a nicely made case. The lens cover is reinforced and strong so you won't smash the lens.

beautiful, but you can't use it with the neck strap,

This case is beautiful and everything you would expect from Leica, but I was disappointed about needing to remove the long neck strap that came with the camera and replace it with a wrist strap. I feel like I'll miss the extra security of the neck strap. I realize I could throw caution to the wind and continue to use the neck strap, but I'd rather not scratch the body of the camera.

Perfect design, construction quality not what I expected,

I love the design of this case. It's convenient and allows quick access to your camera (mine is the Panasonic LX3). I really like that I can wear it and it's barely noticeable.
The quality of construction leaves something to be desired, however. The rivet holding eyelet to which you fasten the strap pulled apart (it snagged on a table when I stood up from a crouch--it really should have been able to withstand that force). I took it to a shoe repair shop and they installed a new, larger rivet. The only downside to this is I had to rip a seam inside the case to allow access to install the rivet, but it's not that big of a deal.

Case for my LX3,

For those with the LX3 I would highly recommend this case. It provides the protection this camera deserves.

This review is from: D-Lux-4 Classic Case (Black) (Electronics)
Good to have OEM instead of HongKong or China made fake case. It is worth to have Leica brand camera.
