This Leisure Time product did a good job of raising the total alkalinity in my hot tub and also boosted the pH to the proper levels. It is a granular product that is ground very finely and it dissolves quickly in the hot water. The active ingredient is Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate.

I find this an extremely easy and convenient way to buy my spa chemicals. Ordering was easy and the delivery was prompt. With Amazon Prime, ordering is a no brainer. It is much more convenient than driving to the spa retailer and paying higher prices.
