3.0 out of 5 stars It's sufficient, but not spectacular May 14, 2013

I needed a replacement for my ShurFlo Water Wizard faucet/pump in my 1998 Coleman Destiny Mesa. The ShurFlo pump I had hasn't been made in 10 years and the company referred me to the Low Boy. The old ShurFlo Water Wizard pump was nice and had double-action on the hand pump to the potable water tank on the camper. For street water, you simply turned the knob open and you could run water hands free. It also had a nice trim cap to hide the fastener screws that held it to the counter-top.

The Low Boy is NOT double-action, is NOT hands free to street water and does NOT have any trim or screw caps to hide the fastener screws. The action to pump the water seems just a bit harder and not being double action produces less water with more work. To engage street water you must press the handle down with some force and you must hold it when you want water (that's a pain).

Also, this pump has three ports for water (1) Street (2) Water Tank (3) Electric pump. For any ports that you do not use, YOU MUST CAP or it will leak. Plus, if you want to use the water tank, you have to have those unused ports capped, the pump will not prime due to not having pressure. It will just suck air from the uncapped port.

**The pump DOES NOT come with any caps. You will need to make a trip to the hardware store. Why they couldn't throw in a cap or two is beyond me...very frustrating...

The good thing about it is that the screw holes line up perfectly to the ShurFlo alignment. I only needed to make a slight modification to the overall opening to fit the pump in properly. I used a "MicroPlane disc cutter" on my cordless drill, which worked great!! You either need that, a jig saw, or a drum sander for your cordless drill. The pump is low profile, which I do like a lot. It also seems to be very solid and well built. The revealing fastener screws aren't a huge deal...it is a camper, but it would be a nice feature for future improvement to the product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Low Boy Pump July 15, 2007
Pattern Name:2-Way|Verified Purchase
Almost glad the faucet on our camper disintegrated so we had to replace it. This one works so much easier than the factory standard one that came on our Aliner. No carpel tunnel pumping dish cleaning water out of the tank! It was easy to install too. The height worked too with 1/2" to spare.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works well for what it is supposed to do. September 10, 2010
Pattern Name:3-Way|Verified Purchase
I ordered this item to replace the missing one in an RV I recently bought. I liked having three water source options. I hooked it up and it works well. The manual pump could be smoother though. It seems to pull water with a lot of force after a few pumps and it splatters everywhere but a lot of air is mixed in with it. It is possible that I have loose fittings letting air in somewhere I suppose. Even so, it is a nice feature to still have a working faucet when your battery is dead and there is no city water to hook to, making the manual pump quirks worth it. As for the city water hookup, that works great, the flow there is nice and smooth. I like the fact that they have switches in the handle to activate the desired water source based on how you use the handle. I have yet to install the electric pump option, but I imagine it works the same as the city water input.

5.0 out of 5 stars faucet for our foldown camper October 21, 2009
Pattern Name:3-Way|Verified Purchase
This is a faucet that we purchased to use in conjuction with an electric pump for the camper. It is just what we needed.
Simple installation.
It was great to be able to locate on Amazon - our local RV supplier only had the hand pump type

5.0 out of 5 stars 2way RV Pump August 31, 2009
Pattern Name:2-Way
This pump is a great low space option for your Recreational Vehicle needs. I replaced my Jayco pop up camper's faucett as the lower plastic unit broke off and I finally got tired of reglueing it. I think I spent half of the replacement cost on glue!
