Pros: We purchased this to have our children store bikes and toys next to the house. It wasn't too hard to put together. The instructions are easy to follow and the places to screw in are indicated with pressure dots. It is very light and easy to move. You will need two people to assemble. It does look attractive - much better than the rubbermaid type plastic units.

Cons: The one door was a little off because it must not be level - when we hung both of the front doors, you can easily see from the front that one is a centimeter higher than the other. It came all the way from China - so perhaps it was warped on the way. We had to hang them this way in order for the latching components to match up. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't keep out water - the bikes were being dripped on. We plan to fix this with caulk applied to the underside but I would have expected an outdoor shed to not leak. We have just put this up a few weeks ago. I am not sure how well it will last over time.

I'm a 52-year-old, not particularly strong, woman. I was able to put it together myself in a couple of hours. The wood is somewhat thin, but it's a good compromise between sturdy and weight. It arrived in fine shape and with all the parts needed.

It does need very stable, flat, and level ground.

The only problem is that the new recycling bin the city just delivered is too tall. So, be sure to measure your bins first! They're not all the same.

My trash cart is about 5" taller than the top rail on this storage shed. I bought some 2 X 6 Cedar boards at the big box lumber company, and raised it up 6", which solved the problem. The only issue this created, is the doors are about 6" short. Also, my cart is all the way up against the back wall, and pushes against the front door. That is a problem that can't be quite as easily resolved. I like the storage shed, and it looks great. However, I think the manufacturer should make it 6 inches deeper, and 6 inches taller. Also, It is a little hard to tell which one, but one or both of the front doors are warped, so the doors don't match up on the front They are the same at the top, but by the time they get to the bottom, there is a difference of about 2 inches. I think I may put another sliding bolt on the bottom of the doors, so they will match up. I may also brad nail a piece of closet plank cedar on the bottom of the doors, so they don't look high water pants. I am removing a star for the warped door, and because I think it should be a little larger. I am not the first to suggest this. Be sure to measure your cart before your order if you don't want to do a lot of extra work to make it work. Finally, someone on a review here, or elsewhere, said the lock mechanism broke, but it was not a big deal; they said they just replaced it. Well, the lock mechanism on it, will only accommodate a lock you would get out of a Cracker-Jack box. Seriously. If you want to put a standard lock on it, you are going to have to replace the lock hasp with a larger, more robust one. I plan to do that very soon. I also didn't like the fact it has no bottom, so I purchased a restaurant grease mat, so it would have a surface to sit on, and so it would drain. See

very flimsy. Need to add brackets to make it more solid in order to use on uneven ground. Be ready to add metal mesh to the bottom, because critters can dig under it... The door lock broke right away, need to buy a new one. But it is cheap, and not a big deal. Finish is decent and not much water gets in. Looks better than plastic. Easy to put together, but much easier with a helper, because it is fairly bulky.

Nice look but will NOT fit a commercial supplied trash can. The picture makes it appear to be larger than it actually is. Because of that I rate it a one star only because you have to rate at least a one star.

We kept waking up to our trash barrels having been ransacked. I did not want a big rubber thing in our driveway. SO I looked and looked and found the Leisure Season Refuse storage. Other comparable units were almost $1,000. SO I opted to try this out. It was easily put together. It did help to have my husband hold the sides while I was screwing things together. We can fit three regular 32 gallon trash barrels in this. It locks and the lid works great. We have not had any more issues with animals and our trash Huzzah! Highly recommend.

The storage shed is a decent value for the money, but I have two minor issues:

1) I wish it was bigger. I can only fit one receptacle can, along with my recycling containers. The receptacle just fits too. I wish it was a foot longer and 6"-12" in depth

2) The construction is okay. The assembly was fine, but it is not as sturdy as I hoped. It is light in weight so I wished it was heavier. The doors are very lightweight.

Overall, it is a decent purchase and would recommend except for the caveats mentioned above.

A bit flimsy, as are all Leisure Season products, in my experience. It is, however very nice for what it does. Just don't beat up on it.
