5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product!
I've owned a hot tub (spa) for six months now. I keep my chemicals up to speed and wash my filters regularly. Once in a while, despite my regular efforts, perhaps every three weeks, the water will turn cloudy. I tried adding chlorine (one tablespoon, as recommended by my store) but that does not help. Using this Leisure Time Spa Bright and Clear is the magic ticket...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not very effective
I wanted a liquid product to maintain sparkling water in my hottub. Granules take awhile to dissolve. The chemicals in this product are supposed to bind with tiny particles in the water to make sure they cannot pass through the filter. After about two weeks use (and almost a whole bottle), the water was still cloudy. It is possible that I have another chemical...

Using this Leisure Time Spa Bright and Clear is the magic ticket! It turns cloudy water into absolutely clear water within six hours. This stuff is magic, the last item you need besides regular maintenance of chemicals and filter washings, to keep the water in your spa clear and bright.

I use this in my hot tub - it is the most effective clarifier I have tried.
I highly recommend it.

I've been using SeaKleer from SpaDepot.com for about a year now and never really noticed a change when i put it in my hot tub every week for maintenance. I literally just came inside from putting this stuff in my tub (2oz, the recommended dosage), ran jets for ~3min then turned them off.... amazing how much clearer and i'd say 'brighter' the water was... no kidding. This stuff does work and i will be buying going fwd. As reference, i use Nature2 (not clorine or bromine) with MPS shock. There is low load on the tub (used 1/wk with kids) and i do water changes 2x/yr. unless something requires a fresh change. Excellent product!

Not much to say about these products, they work or they don't. I have been using leisure time products for several years now and have no complaints. Amazon's prices for these products are cheaper than local pool & spa stores for the same item. Shipping is fast.

I know it works because it really did coagulate the particles and create a brownish film on the surface, that was later filtered by the spa. The film could occasionally get stuck to the side, but it wiped off easily, i guess that is what their side film cleaner is for. But the water is clear and no more little particles. Seem to like to spill easily though.

this product works but we have found when your water is cloudy and foaming it is better to just drain and start over. this product collects all the gunk in your spa around the edges in little bugger balls. clean them off with a cloth and you are good to go.

The chemicals in this product are supposed to bind with tiny particles in the water to make sure they cannot pass through the filter. After about two weeks use (and almost a whole bottle), the water was still cloudy. It is possible that I have another chemical problem, so I don't want to be too harsh on this product, but it did not clear the water.
