Every recipe a winner,
By
This review is from: Leith's Vegetarian Bible (Hardcover)
I've had this book for maybe five or six years, and every recipe I've tried has worked out. It has everything from vegetarian classics like daal to more unusual combinations. (Tofu and mushroom stroganoff gets my vote). Because it's organised in chapters according to ingredients, you can look up recipes for whatever you've got in your fridge, or whatever looks good at the markets. I'm not even vegetarian any more, and it's still the most used cookbook on my shelf.

Can't live without it,

This book is such a great resource. The recipies are so easy to understand and not overly complicated compared to other recipie books. The results therefore always a success. I am always inspired to just flip to a new page and try something new. Extremely happy to have found this book!

Leiths Vegetarian Bible,
This review is from: Leith's Vegetarian Bible (Hardcover)
Not my favourite Leiths cookbook. I thought that it lacked in detail of cooking techniques that are covered so well in the others of the series. The recipes are pretentious rather than down to earth. I probably only found four or five recipes I wanted to try in the whole book.
