HOW IS IT I NEVER RECOMMENDED THIS STUFF?,

This review is from: Lemon Witch Hazel Astringent with Aloe 12 oz. (Misc.)
I suppose it was just that I was immediately as used to it as I was satisfied, when I poured the first stream out of the bottle and into my palm, then slapped it on my face. It was so right, combining everything I love about Witch Hazel -- the freshness, the pleasant, non-stinging astringency, the instant wake-up feel -- with the pungent smell of lemon. Its exactly right. I don't know why. But I leave the house feeling younger, smarter and better-looking than I have any right to feel, or look, with a spring in my step.
Actually, in the past year I've decided to stop buying/using after-shave lotions, even those that mate with colognes I use, simply because virtually everything I wear has either a strong citrus base, or component, and WH/Lemon goes with all of it as well or even better than the after-shave does. Electric or blade, it somehow makes my face feel happy, afterward, like a good barbershop shave. Clarifies things, and saves money too. Can't beat it. Besides, although you always want to look good and smell good, you want to avoid the impression of having been 'Styled.' |
