4.0 out of 5 stars underrated beverage. . .
This album seems to be one of the cheapest Mucky Pup albums in the used market. I have yet to figure out why. Mucky Pup is a metal-esque band which made a name for itself with Boy in a Man's World, which featured silly (or offensive, depending on how sensitive you are) song lyrics mated with music that is a talented parody of the metal genre in general. These guys...

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointment with a capital D!
Being a Mucky Pup fan since their debut "Boy in a Man's World", i was truly disappointed with this album. I dunno what went through their minds when they wrote this crap. Gone are the fun, the surprises, the imagination and that relaxed, laid back feeling that made all previous Mucky Pup albums great to listen to. All the songs sound like they were done in a hurry, as if...

These guys aren't quite as creative with the lyrical adventures on this album as compared to Boy in a Man's World, but the music is very solid and worth listening to. Amazon and E-bay both seem to have a regular supply of inexpensive copies.

All the songs sound like they were done in a hurry, as if they were trying to break some kind of "album recorded in less period of time" record. The only reason i can think of is that maybe it was the last album in the record deal they had with Century Media and they were desperately trying to get rid of them. The album has its moments ("Own Up For What you Say", "Beautiful People" or the Tool-esque "Deja Vu") but, overall, it sounds sloppy and effortless. Like the guys weren't even amusing themselves. And that, in a Mucky Pup album, is a major flaw.

My advice is: go for any of their previous albums ("Boy in a Man's World", "Now", "Act of Faith") but leave this one on the "nice price" section when you see it. Preferrably, on the bottom.
