Would like to also have a mileage left indicator.

I gave the monitor 3 stars because the monitor would run the battery down in the truck when the truck wasn't driven for a couple of days.

There's no need to re-sync; you can even remove the OBD port unit and reinstall it without having to resync.

Easy to set up and use.
However it kept messing up my CX9`s On board computer - the check engine light would go off. Had to return it for that reason.

I really like this for my vehicle that doesn't have an MPG indicator. But, it has a short range. It's stopped sending several times and had to reset it and move it closer to the main sending unit. Range isn't much more than about 24 inches. Doesn't have a light, so can't read at night. Would be nice if the MPG indicator was the larger of the indicators. Would like to also have a mileage left indicator. I have the EconoDriver attached to my dash with velcro and I've had to move it down lower on the dash several time after it quite receiving information from the main unit. Other than that it has worked as advertised.

update 3/13: After about a year the EconoDriver permanently lost its connection to the main sending unit. Ordered a replacement, same problem. Worked for about a year than would no longer connect the the main unit. Would now give it 1 star.

I tried this vehicle monitor in my 2000 Nissan Frontier to see how the vehicle was performing since truck doesn't have all of the bells and whistles like the newer models. This monitor really does work. It told me that I was still getting 20 miles/gal. I had the monitor connected to the ODB in the truck for 3 months. I would fill of the gas tank, drive the truck and watch the readings. When the tank was, fill up again, reset the key fob and watch the readings. It worked great. I gave the monitor 3 stars because the monitor would run the battery down in the truck when the truck wasn't driven for a couple of days. At first, I thought I left the lights on in the truck but after checking to make sure everything was off I came to the conclusion that it was the monitor connected to the OBD that was the problem. Since disconnecting the monitor from the truck, I haven't had any problems with a dead truck bartery.

I really liked the idea of this product. It's cheaper than things like Kiwi or Scanguage, and doesn't require an installation, but after a week with it I couldn't trust its data and longed for a cable. It was a breeze to install and setup. The first problem is that I kept on looking at it waiting to update my mileage and it rarely ever would. I could drive a whole trip and the mileage wouldn't register at all. The manual says it updates every 30 seconds - unfortunately that doesn't happen in reality. I thought it was losing connection as some have suggested. I kept on trying to re-sync the device to no avail. The fob has no indication that it actually has a connection to the OBD port unit. I kept on ending trips with missing miles.

I called the company and I found out that the OBD port monitor is the whole brains of the operation and you don't even need the fob in the car. When it can update the keyfob, the current data will be received with all the updated mileage and efficiency data. There's no need to re-sync; you can even remove the OBD port unit and reinstall it without having to resync. I also found out it works on the same frequency as other keychain remotes, so Bluetooth and car radios won't interfere, and it should have a range similar to your key's remote so it shouldn't matter even if it's in the backseat. They finally gave me an important tip that I can't believe they didn't put in the manual. If you want to force an update just press the middle button (labeled reset and which will reset the unit if you hold it). Actually I found a single press didn't work but I randomly found that pressing it 5 times did work very reliably. Within a few seconds of quickly pressing the middle button it almost always updated. With that knowledge I tried using it again.
