Lenmar LIC315 Lithium-ion Camcorder Battery Equivelent to the Canon BP-315 Battery

If you bought the Canon HV10 like I did, you'll soon find that the 15 minute BP-310 battery it came with just isn't going to cut it. Oh the other hand, I've gotten almost 2 hours from the Lenmar BP-315. It's approximately twice as thick as the BP-310, but not a problem when installed on the camera. I bought two BP-315 batteries along with the Canon CG-300 charger which I also recommend.

While some complain this is bulky, it's not a huge difference. It works great and is definately a great deal to get the generic rather than the name brand. There isn't a difference.

I bought this battery when I purchased my Canon HV10 camcorder from Amazon and am glad I did..the battery that ships with the camera gave me between 25-40 minutes of shooting time with no problems which is sufficient for most ocassions...have used this battery twice since I purchased it and both times took over an hours worth of video and used it to power the camera for playback on the television...lot cheaper that the OEM and probably 95% as good...to me that sounds like a winner

I was hesitant in purchasing a non-Canon replacement battery for my HV10 video camera, but I also didn't want to spend all that extra money. I went with Lenmar over the other non-branded batteries and am pleased to say that it was the right choice. The battery fits perfectly snug in the camera and has since given me consistent charge times. Unfortunately I did not time the charge lengths, but I took it on my camping trip and it was still charged after taping almost two hours of tape with some use of the camera night-light and taking digital pictures. Overall, I'm very pleased with this battery...highly recommended.

About a third of the price of a Canon but lasted less than a year. Supposed 3 year warranty. Probably will avoid the aftermarket battery packs for the HV10.

Bought the battery, charged the battery, used the battery and the battery never worked again. I used it once and was never able to recharge it. I've put it through 2 different battery chargers and am 100% positive that I'm using it correctly. Hopefully the 3 year warranty doesn't have strings attached.

As stated; now my camcorder can truly shoot for more than an hour without me worrying I might run out of juice.

The battery's finish is a plain plastic gray, but I don't mind.

It is a battery, what else do you need?

I use this battery pack on my Canon HR-10. It fits perfectly and it last about 1 1/2 to 2 hours every time. I'm not sure if it will last as long as a original Canon pack, but for almost 1/4 of the price I can just re-buy when ever it stops holding the charge.
