Liverpool was such a major influence on John that wherever he travelled it was always with him and he was to pay tribute to his favourite city in songs such as 'In My Life' and 'Strawberry Fields Forever.' Bill Harry tells us about Lennon's Liverpool of which obviously B.H. was a great (!) part. Furthermore many names are spelt in different ways in different places in the book. Dates, easily checked, are wrong. E.g. John and Cynthia were married August 23 1962 - not 1963 (p. 84), The Beatles were 'No 1 Group On Mersyside' December 1962 - not 1961 (p. 107); easy to see since Ringo is in the picture where writer (!) presents them with the award.One must wonder how many more facts that are incorrect. Perhaps it would be a good idea to let an editor scrutinize the manuscript, should another edition be considered.
