If you are looking to add to your Lenormand collection, be cautious about ordering! Currently the deck pictured and specified (publisher: Lo Scarabeo) is not what is being sent. Unfortunately for me, I received a deck which I already own.

The deck I received, published by Piatnik, is a very nice deck. The pictures look like they are taken from watercolors. If you are looking for a first Lenormand deck, it might be the way to go. It has both the Lenormand numbering system (# 1 - 36) and playing card inserts. Images of many Lenormand decks, including the Piatnik, can be found on the web.

I would recommend double checking this with your seller, or perhaps ordering from a vendor elsewhere who specializes in selling various cards, if you want a specific deck of these cards.

When I was about 8, I was given a pack of Lenormand cards. It belonged to my greatgrandmother and nobody had kept the booklet. I was so fascinated by the images that I developed my own way of reading, my personal spreads and have been using this pack (I bought a new one) for more than 30 years now. The good thing about it is that its very ?"plain", and allows me to work with the images and symbols without a lot of interference. If you like to work more intuitively and not follow instructions,this is the tarot for you. I?ve interpreted the wedding band, for instance, as marriage proposal, bonding, business partnerships, solid investments and even stomach surgeries (for losing weight).The color of the cards is very soothing and sets the mood for a focused reading. Finally, they?re neither too small nor to big to handle which makes it easy to carry to places.

I like to use these cards when I want to work on intuitive reading, because all it is is an image and it is up to you to "see" what it means. They do have a little booklet that comes with it, but I prefer to try to be empathic in my reading, unless the card with the dog laying under the tree comes up and I was asking about something that doesn't match that lol.
