When I bought, the description clearly stated: "Compatible with all ThinkPad X, T, R and A Series batteries." It's not. As the listing now states, ThinkPad T42 and newer ThinkPads can't use this charger.The vendor did promptly issue a refund and they have added a bullet point to correct the ad.

it may not be compatible with non-ibm batteries. I have a Thinkpad t23 and 2 batteries. One is an original IBM battery and the other is a replica non-ibm battery. The IBM one charges with no problems. The one that is not IBM but compatible with the t23 just blinks orange repeatedly when plugged in. Based on the manual to the charger that indicates there is something wrong with the battery. I think the charger may have issues recognizing non-ibm batteries or this may be just a random issue. To be on the safe side you might want to buy this only if you have official ibm batteries....

Although in description is says: Compatible with all ThinkPad X, T, R and A Series batteries..it's not compatible with ThinkPad X201.When selling these things, please make a detailed description of your product, don't just throw a few words in there, that shows how much you are appreciating your customers. |
