The laptop works great and it has good specs for the price but it's very cheaply made..
I can live with the cheap feel of it, but my problem is really the keyboard. I am not a large person and my fingers are of moderate size, but this keyboard (I'm not speaking of the keys here obviously) actually sinks into the laptop when you type anywhere in the left region. I would actually return it if I did not live in the Caribbean, it's way too costly to ship back from here..

This laptop has some incredible specs for its price, and I am really impressed with its power and look. I bought it in the spring and I am kicking myself for not waiting to get it at these prices. This will last me for at least 2 years before I upgrage, and I usually upgrade every year because I do all my work on my computer. The style is very clean and sleek. The huge hard drive is fast and efficient. The i7 processor and powerful graphics card let me run more applications and keep more browser windows open than I ever need. Also my kids play high-end games on it and play it all the time. For $550 this one is a STEAL and IO recommend it to everyone who wants a high end laptop for mid-range prices! Even with Black Friday coming up.

Bang for the buck. It may not be a Mac, but who wants one, when you can get all this built into a sleek and fast machine. Great graphics, quiet to run, loads of ports. Love it.

I bought this back in november, it was sent back 3 times! not once not twice but 3 damn times. Lenovo sent it back with a new issue each god damn time. I have called, flipped out and threatened to come down there and beat them with the comp and hold their hand as they fix it since they are freaking retarded. When the computer worked it was amazing! but it spent more time being shipped back and forth. It was to be sent out for a 4th repair but the case was pushed further and they destroyed the machine and replaced the thing with a better upgrade. I feel i got a crappy laptop outta the get go. I honestly think if it was a different computer it would be fine. -.-

Very troubled system. The biggest annoyance was issues maintaining WiFi connectivity with our Airport base station, with drop-offs every few seconds to minutes. Came with Win 8, but we tried Win 7, and Ubuntu Linux with little better results, if any. Second annoyance was an inexplicable resistance to starting up at random moments. This was only very occasional, but happened at some of the worst occasions. To get it to start up required unplugging power adapter and removing battery for a few minutes. At least a couple of times, unscrewing a section of the back panel to remove the RAM modules. Wait 5 to 15 minutes and reconnect everything, and hey presto, it would power on. The touchpad was ridiculous in that tapping worked fine on generic drivers, but the moment the Elan drivers were loaded, tapping would occasionally stop working. We discovered that we had to tap at least twice, or click a touchpad button, just to get the system to recognise a tap input after a period of typing. No driver updates from Elan to fix this, and with generic drivers, you don't get scroll and other touch gestures. From time to time, the headphone/microphone jack refused to work (well or at all) with external speakers or headphones (high quality devices, both). Other than these issues, it cooled well, had a nice, light, yet moderately sturdy build. The screen could be clearer and more vibrant but it is what it is. Internal speakers were very good - clear and loud. Keys felt nice and touch-typing was a breeze. Running Windows 8 had its own set of issues but it worked very well running under Linux and to some decent extent Windows 7. We got rid of the machine at the first opportunity after several months of moderate use. All I can say is that it's a decent laptop for a light, unknowing, PC user.

Good computer for the price and it is so far doing everything I need it to do. Not as fast as I expected it to be. The sharp edge along the front hurts your wrist when using the built in mouse.
