I have owned and i have seen alot of PC Cams and they have been what i thought was excellent exposure, but i am here to tell you that the GE PC Camera is by for the best that i have ever seen. When i turn the cam on, the action and movement on screen is so real and the sharpness is also fantastic, i highly recommend that if your looking for a PC Cam, this is the one. It is great and i am happy that i bought it.

This is my first and only webcam ever purchased. I bought it a few years ago at Target because it was simply the only one on the shelves. It cost me 30 dollars and I think it was well worth it. It has great quality picture and a convenient button on the top so you can just press it and the camera video stream pops up on your screen. If you click it again after that, it takes a picture. The software included with my webcam was ArcSoft PhotoImpression and VideoImpression. This is GREAT software considering it also came with my mother's high quality Canon digital camera's software. The only thing I would change about the webcam is that it doesn't have a little clip so that you can hook it onto a desk edge. Mine has fallen over numerous times and now doesn't turn right and tilts to the side slightly. Also the picture is a little dark so a desk light or lamp of somekind is very helpful when using this webcam.

This is a great cam i am 13 and i am good at complaining trust me so if i could i would complain but this is perfect i mean if your computer is slow all ready don't worry this cam has no efect. + this cam has great vedio my old cam was so slow that if u waved at it you looked like a robot but this cam shows every thing in real life speed and i really like its mic. it is clear and never skips what u are saying if u are looking for a web cam or just cam u MUST GET THIS ONE!!!

all i have to say is this, for 30 bucks this webcam exceeds my expectations. i didn't expect it to be all that, but it is. the video quality is awesome, and just the fact that it has a microphone is cool too. when u change the flash speed to 30 frames per seconds the video is life-like. you wouldn't believe it until you've bought it. for people who don't want to spend a lot of money on a webcam but still want one with excellent quality the GE PC Camera Pro is the camera for you.

Found the setup on Win98SE, WinME, WIN2000Pro, and WIN XP, exceptionally easy. Works as advertised. Only complaint is that it is poor video in low light, but in a well-lit room, it works well.

This is a great little webcam for those on a budget the pictures are clear. This webcam was extremely easy to set up on XP(If you not technical minded you will still have no trouble setting up this webcam....which is very important). GE Bravo and a surprise I will try more GE computer Products.

When I was looking for a web cam, I wasn't quite sure what to look for. I knew I didn't want to spend a lot, but wanted something that worked well. Amazinly enough, this is the perfect buy. Inexpensive and so far, has outshown any other high priced cams that I have seen. Would highly recommend it (as I have already)!

When I saw this little webcam on a discount store's top shelf, I was a both intrigued and skeptical. The price was right, but I had picked up PC devices based on price alone before and been burned, badly. The specs looked good and included XP as a compatible OS. I liked it's diminuitive size and its colorful design. I thought, as I usually do, why not?

It was a snap to install and configure. My system has XP Pro. I already had microphone-equipped headphones for gaming and video-conferencing, so I didn't set up the internal microphone in the GE EasyCam Pro. The two applications bundled by ArcSoft aren't bad. VideoImpression by ArcSoft allows you to cut and paste video clips and add transitions just like a miniature version of MovieMaker 2. The snapshots I took with the other program are sharper than the ones I have taken with with my other PC Camera, the Intel PC Camera Deluxe.

The first thing I noticed was the clarity of the video. I have been using the Intel camera for about a year, but the little GE camera has a sharper image with better color. The drop-out rate is better also. You can actually see your hand as you wave instead of a choppy blur.

I haven't found ONE reasonably-priced PC camera that works well in low light. This one is no different. In fact, in that regard, it requires a bit more light than my Intel PC Camera Deluxe. But why try to use a camera in the dark? I guess if you are trying to use it as a security camera, the lux problem could be considered an issue. Otherwise, turn on the light.

I've set it up with XP's Windows Messenger and can't wait to get the reaction from my brother when he makes his weekly Internet call. I'm betting he'll want one too.

I bought this cam for the cam and the built in mic... HUGE plus for me and my family. I got it home and was amazed how great it worked and easily installed. I have recommended to my family and all my friends. Even if they already have a cam. the picture is great and works wonderfully. There is so much you can do from recording your little ones to send to the grandparents to still pictures that can be turned into greeting cards or add borders n such. I HIGHLY recommend this cam!

i have had this camera for a few weeks now and it's great. the only thing i hate about it is that the little indicator light (the light saying it's on) stays on all the time, just until you shut down your computer. other than that, really good clarity of picture.
